What Friendly Focus Does

Friendly Focus is a focus-timer app featuring Casey, a suitcase character restoring an old hotel. The App includes focus and break sessions, Deep Focus, in-app rewards, hotel restoration and decoration, Casey customization, and progress summaries.

Friendly Focus is a productivity and entertainment tool. It does not guarantee concentration, productivity, academic results, work output, habit formation, or uninterrupted app blocking.

Apple Standard EULA

Your license to the iOS App is governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). These Terms supplement the Standard EULA and govern Friendly Focus features, purchases, virtual items, and our relationship with you. If these Terms conflict with the Standard EULA on a matter covered by the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA controls.

License

Subject to the Apple Standard EULA, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Friendly Focus for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and applicable App Store rules.

You must not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, interfere with, or misuse the App except where applicable law allows it.

Focus Sessions and In-App Progress

Completing focus sessions grants virtual currency, decorations, room progress, customization items, or other in-app rewards according to the rules shown in the App. These rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred outside the App.

We update and rebalance free gameplay rewards as the App evolves. We do not remove an active subscription entitlement or a paid non-consumable entitlement except when the subscription expires, a payment is refunded or reversed, purchase validation shows no valid entitlement, fraud or misuse is established, or the law requires it.

Ending or interrupting a session can prevent that session from granting progress or rewards. You are responsible for choosing session lengths appropriate to your needs and circumstances.

Deep Focus and Device Controls

Deep Focus uses Apple operating-system APIs and depends on the permissions and selections you control. Operating-system limitations, device settings, system updates, emergency features, and permission changes can affect or temporarily disable restrictions. Deep Focus does not guarantee that every app, notification, website, shortcut, or workaround is blocked.

Do not rely on Friendly Focus where delayed access to another app could create a safety, health, legal, financial, or other serious risk. Keep a safe way to access emergency and essential services.

Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Friendly Focus offers subscriptions, lifetime access, and other in-app purchases shown in the App or App Store. The purchase screen displays each product's current price, billing period, trial terms, and included features before you confirm payment. Prices vary by region and can change for future purchases in accordance with App Store rules.

• Apple processes payments through the App Store.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
• Deleting the App does not cancel an active subscription.
• Lifetime access applies to the App and paid features described at purchase; it does not transfer ownership of the App.
• Apple handles refund requests under its applicable policies.

Friendly Focus uses RevenueCat to validate purchases and manage access to paid features. Paid access ends when a subscription expires, payment fails, Apple issues a refund or reversal, or Apple and RevenueCat report that no valid entitlement exists.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use Friendly Focus for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.
• Attempt to bypass, attack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the App or related services.
• Misrepresent your purchase status or interfere with purchase validation.
• Copy or commercially reuse the App's characters, artwork, designs, text, or software without permission.

Intellectual Property

Friendly Focus, including Casey, the hotel setting, software, artwork, animations, text, audio, branding, and other materials, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No rights are granted except the limited license stated in these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA.

Third-Party Services

Friendly Focus depends on Apple services, App Store payments, RevenueCat, and operating-system APIs. Their terms and policies also apply to the services they provide. Our Privacy Policy explains the information these providers process for Friendly Focus.

Availability, Updates, and Changes

We update, add, remove, rebalance, or discontinue free features, rooms, decorations, rewards, compatibility, or services as the App evolves. We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. Consumer and paid-entitlement rights described above remain unaffected.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Friendly Focus is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including lost productivity, missed deadlines, academic or work outcomes, lost progress, device issues, or temporary inability to access another app.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights, warranties, or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law or the Apple Standard EULA.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. If you are a consumer, this choice does not remove mandatory rights or protections available under the laws of your country or region, and disputes can be brought in the courts available to you under applicable consumer law.

Changes to These Terms

We update these Terms when Friendly Focus or the rules governing it change. Updated Terms will be posted here with a new effective date. We provide additional notice when required by law. Changes do not retroactively reduce rights attached to a completed purchase.
